I love the model. It is scalable. I have printed it with height of 120 mm using PLA matt. The surface finish was great with no apparent layer lines.
I increased the number of layers to prevent the bleeding effect. That was not enough.
Here are my suggestion for those who wants to print the model:
- Print more than one at the same time ... trust me, the material purge is more than the model.
- Increase number of layers to 4.
- Increase the purge amount between black and yellow colors.... Otherwise, you may end up with a ninja-pikachu ;)
- Do NOT activate "Wipe into infill", it is not worth it...
I would have loved though a model that can be cut into different segments that can be then glued together. That will save a lot of time and filament.
The print is nice and love the design, but there are definite settings that need to be figured out and adjusted before printing. First thing remember to paint the bottom of the heart or it will have a yellow first layer. secypu will need to do some purge testing and adjust the setting or you will get red and black banding. Again over all great design.
This right here is the main reason why I personally always look over painted items [from others] before sending it. Also check the flushing, to make sure the bleeding doesn't happen like it did for you. :/
