Description
The original hammer head's hardness was excessive, potentially damaging wooden furniture surfaces upon impact, prompting the creation of this TPU 95A printed cone-shaped replacement. This softer alternative mitigates the risk of surface damage.
Suitable for hammers with a 4cm diameter and an M10 nut hole.
The uploaded print profile was refined after TPU 95A testing, achieving a satisfactory balance of firmness and flexibility. Adjust wall and infill parameters as needed to achieve your desired consistency.
The PETG profile includes a 0.2mm thread tolerance, suitable for PLA and PETG materials (though printing in PLA or PETG is arguably unnecessary; readily available, more durable hammer heads are significantly cheaper. However, these tend to be quite hard, lacking the desired softness, hence the TPU replacement).
Note: The threaded stud is integrated; avoid over-tightening. Gently secure it to prevent detachment. Several days of practical use confirm its secure attachment during operation.
