Description

cleaning leadscrew never as a fun thing to me

especially the one back there

I know we need to clean them regularly , but most of the time I just clean up those two at front

and pretend there's no third one back there

why can't I design something make my life easier ?

here is comes , My Leadscrew cleaning tool :)

I use Optico cleaning Wipe, but it work with small piece of towel or paper towel

the little piece of plastic is for helping insect paper towel into groove and apply lubricating at another side

put it right under the print bed and move the print bed down by app

keep your hand outside , move the bed slowly , be careful don't get caught

then put it above , move your print bed up

make sure you move your print bed slowly, one press a time

for cleaning the leadscrew at the back

move your tool head away from your path first

and be extremely careful when work under the print bed

after clean

apply grease on three leadscrew

move the print bed up and down two three times

thats all :)
