Description

The problem with this type of model is that it is thin and tall. This means that the toolhead will wiggle it around when printing the out layer, causing quality issues and even print failure.

The changes described below mitigate these issues and provide a far better print quality when printing this model vertically.

 

  • Reduced Sparse Infill Density to 15% to avoid solid infill and therefore, improve print quality when the toolhead is printing the top part
  • Increased width at the base of the stem by introducing a cone shape - this helps with reducing the wiggles introduced by the toolhead.

What's your inner and outer speeds? And did you make sure to reduced Sparse Infill Density to 15%? or even less. Have a look at the sliced object and make sure there are no infills as it gets taller.

love how thing but yet durable the stem is not to thick very realistic and detailed and super easy to print
