Grik Smashfoot was never one to be intimidated by his small size. Growing up in the dense, shadowy swamps of Gloomrock Marsh, he quickly learned that only the strong survived. A member of a small, scrappy goblin tribe, Grik spent his youth honing his skills in sneaky tactics and quick strikes, always using his wits to outsmart the larger, stronger predators that roamed the marsh. But unlike many goblins, Grik had a natural talent for combat, and as he grew older, he took up the tribe’s ceremonial sword.
 

When a band of marauding orcs destroyed his tribe, Grik’s life changed forever. In the chaos, he fought tooth and nail, but he was eventually forced to flee, vowing revenge against the orcs who had wiped out his kin. He traveled the land as a mercenary, constantly refining his fighting style and taking on dangerous contracts. His nimble feet, combined with his sharp mind and brutal fighting tactics, made him a deadly foe despite his diminutive size. Now, Grik seeks not only vengeance for his fallen tribe but the riches and glory that come with being a master of war.

Grik has a cocky, confident demeanor and often laughs in the face of danger, believing that his enemies underestimate him due to his size. He may be small, but his speed and ferocity make him a force to be reckoned with in any skirmish.
