Description
Was asked if I could design a lightbox smurf and came up with this fun model.
Electronics used:
- 1m LED strip (3528, 60leds/m)
- KCD1-11-2P Rocker switch
- DC-022 power jack (female, 5.5x2.1mm)
- AC to DC 12V 1,5A power supply
- Some electrical wire and heat shrink tubing
Optional:
Mirror metallic self-adhesive vinyl, but aluminum tape works fine too, as reflector on the back-plate

0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill
it’s hard to get the print off the plate without breaks in the top layer. the top layer needs to be a bit thicker.

Thanks for your feedback. At lot of lightboxes I came across have only 3 layers. I made the black outlines with 1additional layer to give it a bit more strength, but I might have forgotten to adjust the overlap setting in the profile.
If you increase it to 25% it may work better with your filament brands.
