this won’t hold a big phone like my iPhone 14 Pro Max, but it held work phone which is a iPhone 13 mini. either way, it’s so cool! thank you for the file! it’s awesome!

I have added a longer piece to hold the phone on this version, stl in raw download as well as a profile to print the new longer option, I verified this would hold an iphone 14 max. If you would like more option check out my honeycomb wall tripod version, I plan on releasing more option for that model soon.

Good print quality off an A1, I used the bigger piece because I was worried it wouldn't be a fit for the S24 ultra. didn't change any settings just the color, can hardly see later lines.

thanks for making this! works way better than the compliant mechanism in the original design, printed that 3 times with more wall layers+infill and all broke as soon as i try to put my phone in. one improvement you can make on the female end piece of the ball joint is to have the little notches around the screw hole be on the other side, so they click with little bulges on the adapter piece of the original design, right now it's a bit too easy for the screw to get loose on that one in my print

Will do I am currently working on a V2 matching some of the original thread pitch, the phone mount will have a bigger grip option(works well with cases on phone, also extending the grip for larger phones, print without supports , i noticed this on all mine as well. Hope to have this out by the end of the weekend 1/7/24. Is section you want reworked is the one bellow? currently my v2 rework but not posted.

awesome stuff! and yes, i was talking about the 2 joining surfaces on the bottom left. although i'm not sure how well it would print since the notches would need to be printed facing down towards the build plate. looking forward to your update :)

I personally use adaptive cubic, after all this is a remix and a really old version. feel free to look at one of the other uploads or download the raw file and adjust your own settings.

I now have a profile up that is gyroid with 25% infill, print came out fine. I removed the 3rd plate as well let me know if you like any other changes

is there a way to get a plate that is just this attachment peace’s olny and not each different type like the bars screws etc

I think I could to this, are you saying like the arm and the head on two plates ? or are you wanting every item on it’s own plate.

okay I added to new profiles one with a better layout of plates and one with every item on it’s own plate, this was the og design, but now I need to do this for the newer version. thanks for the motivation lol

hey just so you know I’m working on one that allows for something like that! I hope to have it out this next Monday, it has been a big learning project for me as I was learning new modeling software, the idea is to allow for a lot more customization. I have figured out a way to help reduce the flexibility laterally! I do plan on releasing it with the current swivel designs mount. but I have one for a tablet style in the works(the reason I’m reworking the arms)
