Description
BellBotanic is a flowerpot that employs a bell siphon to demonstrate the interplay of pressure, gravity, and fluid dynamics with astonishing simplicity. Once the water in the pot reaches a certain level, the siphon effect begins and empties the pot—stopping just as abruptly when the pressure is no longer sufficient. This instantly clarifies how fluid dynamics function in everyday life. Thanks to its integrated wall mount, BellBotanic can also be installed in a space-saving manner.
Applications and Educational Value:
This model is ideal for directly engaging students in experimentation. They learn practically how fluids behave, how a pressure gradient arises, and why a siphon only functions until air enters the system. Through classroom use, they experience hands-on physics.
