Explanation:
Air from the balloon escapes through holes in the body of the hovercraft. From the holes, the air spreads in all directions, creating an air cushion between the base and the disc, on which the hovercraft moves. The weight of the hovercraft is balanced by the pressure of the air escaping from the balloon.
