Once the bolts are out of the packaging, they fly around everywhere in the bag.

It annoyed me quite a bit! Bodkin tips, in particular, are a problem; they are very sharp and quickly damage the material.

I couldn't find a solution anywhere online, so I designed something myself. After several hours of experimenting, this variant seemed the most sensible.

  • The holders are designed to accommodate all brands and generic 6.3" darts/bolts (at least all the ones I have, from full plastic to aluminum to carbon)
  • I recommend printing the holder with PETG at a minimum. PLA may be too inflexible, but it's worth a try... I tested TPU; the material is too soft and doesn't work.

It becomes even more stable with this print: https://makerworld.com/de/models/903180#profileId-862681

When inserting the bolts, make sure to align the vans/springs evenly so they don't get in each other's way.

There are 4 variants for 6, 10, 12, or 20 bolts.
