The STEMFIE Toy Horse is a fun project that is easy to 3D-print and build. This set of files also includes the parts for building a fence that you can expand modularly.
Please try applying a couple of drops of wood glue on the bed and spread it with a sponge and water.
To improve the adhesion you could add the brim feature in Bambu Studio.
My sincere apologies for the confusion in rating the model. The model itself is perfect and it deserves 5 stars. Its the bed adhesion issues. It came down to the aggressive settings that Generic PLA profile has in Bambu Studio. I reduced all the first layer settings and overall part cooling fan settings to make it manageable. I am using a Textured PEI sheet
Thank you very much for the models. I do see an issue with the beam, I have printed in two different printers and in both cases, the top hole is ".3 mm" smaller than the top hole. Is it by design and am I missing any print settings.
Thank you for your feedback. The hole dimensions of the beams are all equal: 7.0 mm. Therefore, I assume the print settings or conditions (material, ambient temperature, etc) are the cause.
In most cases, the bottom holes are smaller than the top. This is caused by the elephant foot effect, which you can minimize in the slicer settings.
The directions for this do not match the screws given to build it with. can you confirm they are correct. the screw plate is missing screws and threads.
Thank you for pointing this out. I hadn't realized that the illustrations contain fully-threaded screws, and the build plate contains shoulder screws. Nevertheless, the lengths are the same, and you can, therefore, build the horse with the shoulder screws. Happy printing, and I hope you enjoy the STEMFIE horse.
