Throwing Needle
Print Profile(1)

Description
For novices, throwing knives can be challenging (I couldn't find a satisfactory throwing knife model even on m station), so I decided to try throwing needles. Lacking a pre-existing model, I modified tramontostudio's sewing needle design, removing the eye and adjusting the dimensions. Before printing, meticulously clean the build plate; otherwise, stringing is likely. Should isolated stringing occur, Bambu Lab users can utilize the skip function to bypass affected areas, preventing interference with the rest of the model.
The modified throwing needle proved surprisingly effective after printing. After printing, I recommend briefly heating the tip with a lighter to slightly blunt it (avoid excessive dulling), as excessively sharp tips might break (pure conjecture, as I routinely round the tips of my printed toys).
Given my printer is a mini, the needle length is 172mm; diameter and length are customizable. The center of gravity is essentially central, allowing for both spinning and straight throws.
