Description

I get a lot of schmutz and dropped strands of filament in the base of my X1C chamber. Cleaning it can be a bit cumbersome. I didn't like any of the chamber ramps here on MakerWorld, they had curved ramps, which increase the grade towards the lip, and required supports to print, not to mention strands would get caught on layer lines.

So I made my own. It is not curved, so the grade on the ramp stays constant. It is also easy to print, without needing any supports. Print it face down, on a smooth surface, such as the engineering or hot plates; and there will be no layer lines. The designer profile has a variable layer height.

Print in a heat resistant material like ABS or PETG. I also used double-sided woodworking tape to keep it in place.

You can find other models I have released for the X1C/AMS here:

What does this mean? Is my filament too wet? I have 20% humidity in my ams.

Hard to get a good photo but the design is good, fits well and the print profile worked a treat.

Maybe it was just me, but the height was too tall for my carbon x1. Widgth was ok and print quality was good. maybe just rescale to adjust accordingly.

As mentioned in a comment to someone else, I don't think the base of the X1C is perfectly flat in the first place. So I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't some variation with heights for people, because it's not a part that needs tight tolerances for BambuLab to produce.

I thought mine didn’t fit on a P1S but it was my fault for not understanding the proper orientation. I continue to think the P1’s and X1’s are same except for LIDAR and bigger front panel display. mine does not fit tight on the front lip and the garbage I want to clean gets stuck between OEM base and front edge. maybe a piece of gaffing tape

Nice design and it printed well in PETG. Mine got a very little warp (I think) making it not perfectly laying flat on the bottom of the X1C. Would you recommend I use double-faced tape to keep it flat? Thanks for sharing!

Mine didn't warp, but it doesn't lay perfectly flat either. I think the base of the X1C just isn't perfectly flat in the first place. I use double sided wood-working tape to keep it flat.
