glider : Engineered for Flight (flies SUPER well)
Print Profile(2)

Description
This 3D printable glider is designed for effortless flight, combining precision weighting with lightweight performance. Simply print, bend the wings and tail, and watch it soar! With its streamlined design and balanced aerodynamics, it’s perfect for both beginners and experienced makers looking for a fun cool toy. This is ideal for those who want a quick, fun, and satisfying print that delivers excellent flying results right off the printer. It takes less than 20 minutes and around 3.32 grams of filament.
To create:
- Print out the model.
- Carefully remove it from the build plate.
- Bend the wings and tail.
This should fly relatively well of the printer. However, some slight adjustment may need to be made.
- If the glider is nose diving
- bend the tail slightly up to increase lift
- bend the back edge of the wings down to increase lift
- If the glider is stalling (slowing down too much and dropping out of the air)
- bend the tail down slightly to decrease lift
- bend the back edge of the wings lightly up to decrease lift
After a short amount of tweaking, this should be able to fly incredibly well and far.
Recommended print settings:
For print settings, what I have used it:
- 0.08 mm initial layer height
- 0.08 mm layer height
- 4 walls (the part is completely solid)
- 15 % infill (does not actually matter if you use the 4 walls)
- For material, I used pla, however, it probably does not matter
