Box with many small compartments for storing things.
Completely parametric, number and size of compartments as well as the wall thicknesses can be configured in the SCAD file.
Friction fit top with configurable tolerance for achieving suitable fit.
Last but not least, the top has matching grooves for the walls of the bottom part to prevent even the smallest parts migrating between the compartments.
The accompanying STL file only contains a 2x2 example box with 20x20x20 mm compartments. On my setup both the outer and inner walls are two printer tracks wide with no infill. The 0.4mm fit tolerance required just a bit of cleaning of the corners and the top grooves to produce a box which operates fairly nicely and stays securely shut.
It is recommended to edit the SCAD file to produce the box parts in desired dimensions or use it as a library. It is also recommended to customize the wall thicknesses by picking values which the printer in question produces nicely.
