Now, bringing to MakerWorld this DIY 80mm fan dust filter Noctua Fans and more!
I designed these fan dust filters to fit the 8025 Noctua fans used on my Raspberry Pi 5 NAS for 3.5 HDDs enclosure to limit dust from the air intake!

Instructions
Cut a section of 76mm x 76 mm
Note: It does not need to be perfect. Just ensure the cut is less then 76 mm and grater than 70mm
Cut all four corners in a 45° (this will help clear the mounting holes. | ![]() |
Note: This step is optional but will help with the filter placement.
Add a bit of glue to the edges to help secure the filter in place and avoid missalignment | ![]() |
Clamp the both ends, ensuring the grooves clip on and the whole body lais flat.
Note: If you added glue, let it sit for at least 3-5 minutes to allow glue to dry | ![]() |
