Description

This is a test model that can be printed quickly. By looking at it you can see if you set your flow (aka extrustion multiplier) correctly.

There is couple of surfaces with overlaping features, so you can look if you have some gaps, or overextrusion. It uses less than 4g of filament and prints in about 6-15 minutes - depending on your printer. It is suitable for both 0.4 and 0.6mm nozzles.

Printing instructions

  • 0.2mm layer height
  • 2 walls, 3 top and bottom layers
  • 20% infill

I have found that for me 1.0 (100%) flow usually works for PLA, and 0.94 (94%) for ASA. When I get a new colour, I try these defaults on this print and if needed, change the flow by 0.01 (1%) either up or down.
