Description

I wanted a 2nd desktop housing for my other P1S which arrives soon. I could have just printed another single housing, but where's the fun in that!

This dual version requires power from the JST header and I enlarged the rear hole to allow a JST to be inserted, with the cable running out to a USB socket for power. Requires 8 of M3 x 12mm cap head screws.

Just printed and set up on my desk, it looks great. I have 4 P1P printers. I tried to change the numbers 1 & 2 to a 3 & 4, but did not work. I would like to ask if you can create the file with a 3 & 4, or post the raw file so I can change it. Job well done, thank you.

Which cable is used to connect both esp32 board to one usb. Or do you run two cables?

I used the mini connector cables that came with each screen and joined them to a single USB. you only need power as updates can be done OTA

I just printed this and have the screens ready to go as well. Can you link me to whatever JST, cables, etc that I need and maybe explain the wiring a bit? I should have read the details before committing to this print lol sorry!

If you are looking at the back - the 4 pin connector "above" the USB connector has a 4 Pin connector. From top to bottom it's 5v/signal/signal/ground. . . . The corresponding JST plug wire is Red / Yellow / Blue / Black. The important part is red is one side (5v positive ) and the black is the ground. The signal wires in the middle will not be needed. If you lop off the end of a usb cable - you should find the corresponding red and black. I would HIGHLY recommend checking them with a meter prior to hooking anything to the board as I have chopped up some cables that just had "whatever" color wires in them. . . . But MOST - the black is ground / the red is 5V.
