Description

We picked up this really neat Rossetta Star Projector for one of our kid's rooms, but as is the case with all these things they project straight up so when you put it in the corner of a room you end up with a really lousy coverage of their ceiling.

I propped it up and figured about 18° lift was necessary to cover the entire ceiling of the room from one wall. Ran the calipers over it a few times, botched the first measurement, did it again and now the entire ceiling gets the effect. My phone wouldn't go wide enough to catch the whole thing, laying on the middle of the floor pointed up!

All I did was pull the rubber stickers off the bottom of the projector, stick them on the bottom of the print, then put the projector on the stand. The pins on the stand fit in the screw cavities of the projector to hold it in place.

There's a little hole cut out the back of it you can use to stuff away excess cabling as well.

NOTE: there are a few manifold errors in the STEP for some reason. The built-in repair will fix it but even unfixed I don't think it causes an issue. I couldn't sort out exactly why it exported that way. I fixed it in the 3MF and exported that fixed version as an STL if you want it.

I'm sorry to hear that! I linked the exact projector I made this for in the description. I'm not sure exactly who or what HODANS is, but the projector we received was labeled (box, paperwork, and projector) as Rossetta.
