This is a neat pod container with a hinge which prints easily. By adding two magnets, the container stays safely closed when taking it with you. Looks great in all kind of colors!
Required tools/parts:
- Super glue
- 2 round magnets (6mm width, 3mm height)
Diameter: ca. 75mm
Height: ca. 40mm
Print & build instructions:
- Set colors as you like in your slicer
- Print with the provided profile which also takes care of required supports
- Let all parts cool down properly
- Remove supports
- Gently open the hinge - you can use the back of a knife to apply some force if need be
- Use super glue to attach the hinge to the top and the bottom part of the container. Do not apply too much glue to avoid spills on the print
- Use a screw clamp to fixate the container and allow the glue to dry fully
- Push two magnets (6mm width, 3mm height) into the top and bottom part of the container. Important: Mark the magnets with a pen before placing them in the print so that you will know which sides of the magnet will need to face each other.
