The model has been upgraded structurally based on the model I previously uploaded (see figure below), eliminating the need for double-sided tape. By tightening the bolts appropriately, it can be fixed relative to the edge of the table, making it easier to store and apply data cables.

The 5-pole cable clamp version this time is almost compatible with all mobile phone data cables. Among the 5 data cable holes, 2 have a diameter of 5.5mm (suitable for thicker fast charging data cables) and 3 have a diameter of 5mm (suitable for Apple type data cables).

Printing instructions: The first printing configuration is a monochrome version, and the second printing configuration is a two-color piece by piece printing version with customizable colors. There is almost no difference in printing time, allowing for more customized printing options, even on mobile devices, making it easy to complete the operation.

Attention: Due to the use of support shielding for the threaded structure, it is normal to observe extremely slight filament stringing at the initial stage of the threading.

The stress requirements for securing the data cable are not high, and over-tightening the device may lead to the main body breaking.

Design Optimization for Enhanced Structural Strength

In response to the specific requirements of the model’s printing orientation, particularly the tendency of the Z-axis interlayer to bear stress, I have reinforced the structure during the design process. There is no need to worry about structural strength.(but  do not overtighten….)

I tested different wall layer configurations using PLA filament and found that they did not significantly enhance the model’s strength. If you are aiming for higher strength, I recommend using PETG filament, which offers better interlayer adhesion.
