I went through a few iterations to make this case perfect. There's a few features that make it really good:

  • Buttons are all have a good click to them. No inconvenient holes, all buttons are covered, including the action button.
  • The case has a tight grip on the phone, doesn't slide out easily.
  • Camera bump guard is split from the case, so you can print it in different materials like PLA or TPU and different colors.
  • Beautiful honeycomb pattern that makes for a nicer finish
  • relatively easy to print without bulging or other critical problems

Assembly:

  • insert the camera bump guard first in the right direction
  • Insert all 3 buttons
  • finally insert your phone!

How to print:

  • TPU 95: a strong flexible filament is required for the case
  • Camera bump guard can be print in TPU or PLA.
  • Use supports on tight overhangs on the case like the buttons and speaker and port bridges.
  • I recommend 15% infill, for better clickiness of buttons.
  • If you want the cool effect to highlight the honeycomb pattern in a different colour, you'll need to add a stop at layer 2 and 3. This means you'll start with TPU, change to the other colour at layer 2 and revert to TPU at layer 3.
  • Print 3 volume rocker buttons and 1 power button

Hi. Printed the 102% in Overture TPU on a holographic bed. Print looks great but is slightly loose on my phone. If the case was 1mm deeper and slightly tighter it would be perfect. Feel like my phone will fall out of the case. Side note: went to take a picture of my phone in the case and couldn't find my phone to take the picture. It's been one of those days.

I’m sorry the measurements are not perfect! I didn’t have an iPhone 14 to test it and used the specs listed at Apple. if you have a caliper around, can you give me some measurements of your phone? with those I’ll make the adjustments so that you can make a perfect print!

Hi. I measured it with my digital caliper and it looks to be: 71.6mm W x 147.5mm L x 8.65mm D. Hope that makes sense?

Thank you so much! > 8.65mm D When you measure this, you're just measuring the thickness of the body without taking into account the camera cutout right? it's all a bit strange because these are the measurements on the official website: Width: 2.81 inches (71.5 mm)Height: 5.81 inches (147.5 mm)Depth: 0.31 inch (7.85 mm)Weight: 7.27 ounces (206 grams) https://support.apple.com/en-us/111849

Replying to @nicosandller :
the T (for UT Vols Football) is cut from vinyl on a Cricut Maker as I just got my first 3D Printer at the end of December 2023 and am not up to remixes yet.

sorry I didn’t get back to you, didn’t know there was this feature in the app. The model was made out of hard PLA in a dark blue color with white lining. I bet it was supposed to be printed in a softer filament tho. It was really tight getting in the phone. I had to heat it up and kinda melt it into the phone. Not a big deal though because it still works great. Wireless charging works and MagSafe works. Also it looks great. Awsome model. The reason for the three stars is because it needs a picture of the model to give it five stars. I had already given the case to my sister, so I couldn’t get a picture. sorry about that

print was okay but there really is no way to print this in PLA there is no give to stretch a phone in it. I love the design though. also a lot of stringing on the right side edge probably due to lack of support

hey! thank you for printing it and giving it a try! yeah… sorry sadly it’s not designed for PLA, only TPU. I found that the stringing is better than supports because you can just cut them off and it won’t affect the structural integrity. let me know if you have some suggestions to make it better :). also if you have a picture of your print please kindly share it!
