Hello dear Maker,
I replaced a fragile cardboard searchlight in a children’s book with a durable, 3D-printed PLA version. It keeps the playful, cartoon style while resisting bending or tearing. PLA is easy to print, non-toxic, and allows for color matching and added details. Now the piece can handle enthusiastic page-turning and is simple to reproduce at low cost.
