A fully functional Ferris wheel. Set the Ferris wheel in motion by turning the small wheel at the ticket booth…

Honestly, I was frustrated with this project, and I'm glad it finally works. Some minor adjustments are needed here and there for everything to run smoothly.

Assembly should be self-explanatory. The small gears belong on the long rod and the large one on the short one. The drive wheel, signs, and gears must of course be glued.

If you print it, I'd appreciate some pictures.

Had some issues separating the chain links. Its easier if you push them together rather than trying to wiggle them apart. Ended up printing the chain links twice as I broke so many of them. Also, the tolerances. Everything feels like it needs to be a little looser in the gearing system. As its all very tight and under stress. I just sprayed it with WD-40. Which helped. Other than that, it now sits on my shelf.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad to see you managed the assembly. I haven't thought of the WD40 idea yet 😀
