Description

This little snap on shield helps protect the glass cover from scratches and marks left by the PTFE tube that comes off the print head by preventing it from making contact during printing. The small pointed tip creates a barrier and a smaller, less friction point of contact between the two.

Great idea which printed very well. Also fits great on the tube and did not slip jet. Thanks for that simple and nice Design.

Fit securely but was also easy to snap around the tubing.

nice idea, but the main reason for this is to prevent the ptfe tube from grinding down on the glass. which can be also achieved with 3-4 zip ties. without removing the tube.

these can be snapped on without removing the ptfe tube [tested in PETG] and what fun would zip ties be....printing upgrades for your 3D printer is one of the fun parts of owning one. Lord knows you need those wins to offset the frustration lol =P

Went with ASA for durability. Effective with minimal change to the system.
