Description
A small table with 3d printed legs and a wooden tabletop.
In addition to the printed parts you will need:
- A wooden tabletop, I recommend ~30cm diameter ~18mm thick, e.g. this one from eBay or similar
- 16 Countersunk screws, I recommend 3.5mm x 15mm, e.g. these ones from Frantos
What to print:
- (Optional) Positioning guide. Can be placed on the tabletop for easier positioning of the leg bases
- 4x table leg
- 4x leg base (could be printed on one plate, but I recommend printing at least one separately to test if it screws in well)
All parts required a little bit less than a Bambulab role of PLA filament when I printed mine.
Assembly:
- Mark the position of the holes (optionally using the guide)
- Pre-drill the holes so that the wood does not split later on
- Important! Remove the guide before screwing in the leg bases, otherwise you will have to destroy the guide to remove it
- Screw the bases into the wood using the countersunk srews
- Carefully screw the legs onto the bases. Once they are on, the are sturdy, but you can break the base if you apply pressure sideways while screwing on the legs!
