Grinch Clock Housing

This complete housing unit accommodates 215 mm clock faces and consists of three main components: a backplate with a cutout designed for 56mm x 56mm x 16-17mm clock mechanisms, a multicolor front clock face featuring Grinch font lettering, and eight pins to securely fasten the clock face between the backplate and the clock face. The center cutout, measuring 7.8 mm wide, is compatible with most clock movements, including the 5168-s movement kit used in this example. (The HR-1688 has identical dimensions) Below, you'll find a selection of sample clock faces, or you can create your own unique design.

To make your own clock face you can utilize the image to keychain MakerLab or make a HueForge with the appropriate cut out.

Image to Keychain:

• Import your favorite photo
• select the Circle from the shape crop ratio
• Pick 1mm image thickness
• Choose your AMS color level
• Finish your design
• Pick face down mode or us a minimum thickness (0.1 mm) for plate thickness
• Download the 3MF file
• Scale the x and y axis to 215mm each. Make sure the z axis doesn't scale too. (Should be ~1mm)
• Right click and add a negative shape, select cylinder
• Change the x and y measurements of the negative cylinder to 7.8 mm each
• Center the negative cylinder by right click and center under the object tab or on the shape
• Slice and Print
