Description

My take on a Giant Lego-like Santa!🎅(10:1 scale)

Personally I found the original Santa megafig a bit difficult to print so I modified most of the Santa parts and pre-painted the Decal and Legs to work with Julia's megafig.

The legs and decal only require a max of three filament swaps each and can be done manually, so an AMS is not necessarily required. Some glue will be necessary, mostly to attach the decal to the torso. I also occasionally ran into issues while testing with some of the connector pins being too tight/loose depending on the filament used; it might be worth printing some pins first to see how well they fit and scaling up or down if needed before printing the entire thing.

First of all I just love this model. had some issues printing some of the parts when using the 3mf files due to the lack of support or brim. but that’s what 3dprinting is. the connection plugs for the beard are to tight so I just glued it. printing the last piece (bag) atm.

One of the best printing we did. Assembly is perfect, tolerance a very good only a few drops of glue needed. To avoid gold silk PLA discoloration, we capped the speed at 35mm/s and didn't use variable layer height

this came out amazing. I did have to make some mods to the hat to make it fit snug but otherwise perfect.

printed at 50%. pins for the beard had to be drilled on one side because they were too tight.
