Description
A custom Xtouch Flip screen intrgation for the Bambulab p1s/p1p
I aimed for minimal footprint and modern edgeless design while covering the orignal P1S/P screen.
Don't overthighten the screws on the back plate, it can push on the reset button of the Xtouch.

LOVE this.
I found I didn't need the back panel, only the face and the part that hooks onto the OG screen.
I happened to have some hinge screws left from the P1P - P1S upgrade kit and the worked fabulous to secure the hinge.
I used Alien Tape (clear double sided gel tape) to hold the screen in place.

Awesome design, minimal but clean. Printed flawlessly, used burnt titanium PETG. The bulge is because I had an m3x10 mixed in with my m3x8 bolts and didn’t catch it right away.

Printed in Black PETG - came out really well, love the textured PLA build plate supplied with the P1S! Just wondering where best to route the cable - be nice to go straight behind the old screen - but have routed to the right where there is a small hole to feed the cable through - means the top glass can be flush.
Also fits well with the small tool storage unit i found on printables (Think Adam Savage has it!) - some other cases clash with this unit, https://www.printables.com/model/400651-bambu-carbon-x1-ams-top-tool-storage
so this thin design works well with that unit - and probably other wider ones too
