Description

A 3d printed box for the cardgame “CABO”. I tried to make the box as ugly as the original game design ;-)

If you dont want to print it yourself, you can buy one in my Etsy-Shop or in my Online-Shop.

Edit 02.04.24: now with a cut-out for easier opening.

Great design, but unfortunately the corners of the lower part have bent upwards a little. It may be possible to counteract the wrapping a little by printing the two shells separately, even if this means you need a little more material to clean the nozzle.

hmm i usually print 6 of these on one print plate with no issues... maybe check/dry your filament?

I was using Prusament Galaxy Green PLA. Till now I had no issues with PLA from Prusament, but the next time I‘ll use Bambu PLA Basic and the unused side of the Bambu textured PEI sheet. If the wrapping problem is really due to the filament or the used side of the printing plate and everything works with the original Bambu filament, I will of course also adjust the rating. I love Cabo and I like to give it as a gift, so the next box will be printed soon.

Fit is a bit tight even after deburring. Usually my printer is dimensionally accurate enough. Had some adhesion issue on the first try, but i guess this was my fault.
