Description

We found that trying to refill our Bosch dishwasher with rinse aid was a total pain. We bought the economical large bottles which just made a mess trying to get it into the tiny compartment opening.

 

This is a funnel that will assist in refilling the rinse aid compartment in a Bosch dishwasher. I created this for our 800 Series dishwasher ( it may work in other series Bosch dishwashers ). The 800 series has the rinse aid compartment located on the inside of the main washer door right next to the detergent pod compartment. To refill, you fully open the main door until it is parallel with the floor. Open the small snap-door where you add rinse aid and push the base of this funnel onto the oval that surrounds the place where rinse aid is to be poured. The “window” in the base of the funnel should be towards you, or pointing away from the dishwasher so that you can clearly see the small existing tab that has the word “max” on it. The window lets you easily see when you have completely filled the rinse aid compartment.

 

I designed this funnel to press snugly onto the oval feature which surrounds the place where rinse aid is added. The design works well with PLA. So you may need to scale the funnel in Bambu Studio very slightly up or down depending on other filaments and how dimensionally accurate they are. Included in the 3mf file is a Large and a Medium funnel. Everything else in the two models is the same.

 

I printed mine in the orientation shown on the plate with normal auto grid supports which are only under the horizontal part of the base. I used the Cool Plate in my X1C with 0.4 nozzle and 0.16 High Quality. I used standard PLA with a fill of 60% and 4 wall loops.
