This is an upgraded Nespresso Vertuo Capsule Holder with rotating base from my previous design.
It features the same elegant design with hexagon pattern everywhere, with an additional robust rotating base driven by a hidden gear bearing at the bottom.
Size Variations
There are 2 size available:
- Normal Size: Fits 18 capsules on the outer slots, printable on any Bambu Lab machine or other printers with print volume 180x180x180mm and above
- Tall Size: Fits 24-30 capsules on the outer slots, printable on any machine with print volume 180x180x256mm and above. This version cannot be printed on A1 mini!
Printing Instruction
If you have not owned the old version, you need to print
- Plate 1: Main Body
- Plate 2: Base
- Plate 3: Gear Bearing
If you already own the old version, you will instead need to print
- Plate 2: Base
- Plate 3: Gear Bearing
- Plate 4: Adapter
Print Setting Suggestion
The default profile for Bambu Lab PLA will generally work well. However, there are 2 settings that could help with avoiding stringing:
- Reduce nozzle temperature from 220 to 200-210, depending on the exact filament you are using.
- For PLA Basic from Bambu Lab, eSun and Sunlu, I personally find 200 to be the sweet spot
- Increase nozzle retraction to 0.5mm
