Description

I remixed the design to get two Pods for the outer spots in AMS.

The STL-Model is for the right side and needs to be mirrored for the left.

I will combine it into a print profile.

Unfortunately V1 did not fit into the AMS properly because of a small edge, I worked out a Version 2 to fix it.

 

On some Slicers the part gets 10 times bigger. Could not find out the reason. In this case, simply scale it to 10% to make it fit

The profile was good. I had to clean it after the print a bit, but I guess that's normal.

Edited: Great print, has cage support, in comparison with some other models. Original: Super thin, super easy to bend.

Printed in PETG, this is an extremely snug fitting part, with you almost having to 'rock and lock' it into place. It was also not overly obvious as to which one is for the left, or right side. Additionally, it would be nice if the lid had indents and the rails it slides onto had detents, so that the lids can 'click' into place. As they are, they slide off too easily.

Good morning, there is a little notch on one of the fronts, which come to the outside of the AMS, otherwise it won't fit in. The 'click' was not needed to low tolerances when printed with PLA, there the lid has to be put in with some pressure 🤔 Will have a test print in PETG the next days 👍 Thanks for your review and ideas 😉

I have used this on both of my AMS units to get more Desiccant in there.

Great design, I’m happy to get maximum desiccant in the ams, this allows you too really capitalize on otherwise empty space.
