Description

This is an alternate set of legs for the magna rack system made by Battle Foam. The posts available from Battle Foam only come in 2" increments, which can really limit how well you can customize the spacing of your shelves. My system can be printed in ½" increments from 1" to 5", and then 1" increments from 5" to 9".

The other downside to the official posts are press fit. Due to manufacturing variations, this means that legs can be too loose, risking unintended separation, or too tight, making it difficult to change the configuration once it is set.

My system fixes this problem by making the pieces screw together. This pieces are easy to make snug, and easy to undo if you need to change your bag's configuration.

The dimensions listed for each leg measures from the top of the shelf below it to the bottom of the shelf above. It does not include the portion that passes through the shelf and into the leg above.

The system consists of three types of parts, shown below. Left is the bottom plug, center is the leg (pictured is the 1" leg) and right is the top cap. There are two top caps available. The Top cap 6 mm is shorter than the other, and fits better when the top shelf is the non-slider magnarack. The magnarack sliders are thicker, so less of the leg extends up through it.

The attached print profile includes all of the available leg lengths. When printing through Bambu Lab app, you can click on “print parts” to deselect any sizes you do not wish to print.
