Trapizoidal Prism Tray - Board Game Trays
Print Profile(1)

Description
SCAD scripts generates a trapezoidal tray (different length and width at bottom and top). It allows rapid creation of trays for board game components optionally with a lid and components for compartments.
Included STL file is a benchmark to quickly print (~30 min on A1) and verify if the clearance setting are tuned for your printer.
(!) Since the design aimed at lightweight board game components wall, bottom and lid are not very thick I recommend waiting for the bed to cool down before removing it.
All items are include in a single STL file, once imported into slicer you should split them.
Once you confirm the print ok, click Customize and create you own trays.
Problem solving: cannot slide in the lid
If you have problem with the lid being too large in all dimensions (length and width). increase lid_clearance from the advanced settings tab.
If you can slide the lid but the side snaps.
Feature: Lid
Lid is a slide-in it is tight enough not slide-out on its own to insert push evenly on each side or somewhere in the middle. Lid has a cut-out for easier removal.
Feature: Compartments
Compartments generated 3 additional items, 2 components touching walls adjusted for the tray angle and internal wall. If you enable this feature all components are generated in a single STL file - split it to part and move wall to touch the tray side, clone, copy and rotate to quickly create compartments. If the lid is enable compartment height is adjusted so it does not to collide with the lid sliding in.
Some examples of tray I created using this tool can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/search?keyword=tag:%20bgt-trapisoidal-prism-simple
