IMPORTANT

When 3D printing parts that come into direct contact with coffee or beverages, it’s essential to use food-safe certified filaments. Materials like PLA, PETG, or PCTG specifically labeled as "food-safe" are ideal choices. Ensure the filament is certified by reputable organizations such as the FDA (U.S.) or CE (Europe). Additionally, avoid using colorants or additives that may not comply with food safety standards.

1. Extruder Temperature

  • PLA: 190–220°C
  • PETG: 220–250°C
  • PCTG: 230–250°C
Always check the specific recommendations from your filament manufacturer.

2. Bed Temperature

  • PLA: 40–60°C
  • PETG/PCTG: 60°
Ensure the bed is clean and leveled for proper adhesion.

4. Cooling Fan

  • PLA: Use 100% fan speed after the first layers for better cooling.
  • PETG/PCTG: Low or no cooling to prevent warping or delamination.
