Description

2024-02-27: Moved the guide area a little bit to the right, so that it matches the HUB guide I also made.

NOTE: This is for the AMS BUFFER, not the AMS HUB. There is a different model for the HUB.

Another of many PTFE guides for the X1C and the AMS. This lines up the output feed.

There are two versions: one standalone, and another for use with the X1C spool holder.

You should have longer M3 screws in the accessories kit that came with your printer.

If you don't have any, you can buy any generic M3 hex socket screw kit off Amazon.

Settings worked well enough, I did add a hole to the model to fit my usecase of passing an external filament tube to the opposite side. I have uploaded a profile with identical settings but two additional plates with double tube holes for anyone who might need it.

The model is good, but some defects were found after printing. I placed the modified parameters.

Functions great! Surface texture came out funky, but it’s not a visual piece to me anyway.

Works great, but had to offset install to clear side spool mount, but still lines everything up and keeps it that way. Thank you!
