Succeeding the MochPoch moss pole designs (118mm and 70mm), the Bamboo Moss Pole is here. Through multiple iterations, requests of kind users of various 3D printing communities have been included to create a pole that’s not just functional but also aesthetically pleasing.
With six grid designs and two base options, you can choose the look that best suits your plants. Plus, the thoughtfully designed backing ensures your pole looks great from every angle—making it an excellent choice even for window-facing plants.
Please note, this 3D model is NOT for sale, and any commercial use of its media (including but not limited to STLs, print profiles, images, renders, and videos) and selling of physical prints are prohibited. If you come across it being sold or used commercially, kindly report it and let me know.

The Bamboo Moss Pole is compatible with pots that are at least 100 mm in diameter.
Using the tapered base will allow compatibility with pots with a base diameter of 65 mm.
Unfortunately this is an entirely new moss pole system and it is not compatible with my previous designs.
This model is comprised of 4 required and 1 optional parts:
This pole comes in a 220mm height and 90 mm diameter. To remove the support, simply poke a hole in the support base and tilt your piercing tool of choice to push the support out. Depending on the quality/state of your filament it could get difficult and a long nose plier might be your best option.
Mixing function with style, the backing can be matched with 6 grid designs:
Considering standard pot sizing, 2 bases are available:
Part | Top Diameter | Base Diameter |
---|---|---|
Tapered Base | 90 mm | 60 mm |
Round Base | 90 mm | 100 mm |
NOTE: Due to various factors such as printer differences (brand, calibration, settings etc.) or filament (type, dryness, brand, calibration etc.) clearance testing is a must.
Use the clearance test plate to print the dowels with varying diameters and test it on the backing. There are trade-offs based on the clearance you choose.
Fit | Effect |
---|---|

Optionally, one may use glue if you want to make sure that the dowel and the backings do not shift in its place.
