Hey, guys, I’m here to introduce you – Bambu Calibration cube.

I think Bambu printers deserve their own calibration cube. At the same time, I don’t want it to be disposable and boring like any other calibration prints. So, I made this one, which you could use as filament sample for display and a collection kind of thing. Here is how it looks.

Dimension accuracy:

At the same time this calibration cube will serve its purpose. This calibration cube is a classic 20mm cube on x, y, and z axis.

I made the Bambu logo at front x-axis, MakerWorld log on the right side – y aixs. (PS: If you can't get the dimension you want, push hard, until you get the number that you want,,, lol)

Due to the shrinkage rate of your filament, some deviations are acceptable. Some filaments like wood filament very often will over size.

Detail finish on small parameter:

The Bambu logo at front (x axis) will display some quality of detail finish and the printing quality over small parameters.

At the same time those edges will show if there is any ghosting issue.

On the other right side (y axis), we have MakerWorld logo. Which consists of a small floating layer, over top, and some small vertical overhang.

Layer finish:

I have left two surface black, so you can check out the layer finish.

Light and observe postition (angle) matter a lot here:

At top

On side (45degree)

Can you see how big of different from same surface.

Some filament are really good on hiding layer lines:

Over top:

Over extrusion (overflow) will have ugly surface finish.

seems I had a wierd ringing going on with the cube, no matter what I did mechanical wise, fillament wise and calibration wise it would still show, don't know if it's the slice or not, looks cool tho
