Description

Workbench Organizer

When I am working on a project, my workbench is mostly a mess in no time. Screwdrivers everywhere, nuts and bolts all over the place. Well, most of you know the feeling.

So, I wanted an organizer where I was able to keep my tools and nuts and bolts together. Sure, you find those online. But I like design things myself. So, I started up Fusion 360 and started the project.

I had a bunch of things I wanted in my design:

  • It needed removable trays for nuts and bolts
  • I wanted a holder for screwdrivers, with a little compartment at the bottom for the ones I mostly use.
  • At the back I wanted room for my caliper
  • My pliers and my scrapers needed a spot where they would be easy to take
  • I wanted my scalpel and pencil in their own spot.

So, this is the solution I came to. I hope you like it as much as I do.

I printed the lift part at 45° so it will be a lot stronger than printing it straight up. I used Black PLA for it. Know that it is big and will take some time to print. But it is really worth it.
