Description

This is a small Christmas tree ornament, shaped like the X1Carbon Printer (or P1S if you switch the colours) with a working door.

The model is printed in parts and then assembled:

the Logo is part of the main body,
the lid is separate and uses a friction-fit,
the screen is separate and glued in,
the door is separate and uses a friction fit on the hinge.

the tree support no matter how careful would not let go of the small screen and ended up pulling off the screen. Also where the walls begin on the base, I had a band protruding out. i recommend a brim as it helped reduce the band by keeping the base flat. i moved to regular supports for the entire front door opening and put slightly more z height gap between the support and the model for easier removal. using these mentioned settings it came out near perfect.

Love it, The door is a little tricky to get in. I just hot glued it from the inside to keep it in and then hot glued the top on. Looks great, cant wait to put it on the tree

Support settings need refining slightly, overhangs weren't happy but the rest came out ok. Printed glass sections in transparent filament.

Hi mkuchynka, my uploaded profile has tree supports enabled for the main body exactly for this reason. Did you print this from Bambu Studio or from the BambuHandy app? Cheers, jpbruce
