UPDATE 2023-11-30
Thanks are due: Sean Kerrigan - (gap fix, extended layers and instructions)
- fixed the gap in the outline of the tail
- added "pikachu_thin.stl" model: decreased base colour to 1 mm
- added "pikachu_ext.stl" model: extended height of coloured layers from 0.4 to 0.6 mm for easier colour change (printing layer height of 0.2mm) - this will also help to highlight upper colours when using more transparent filaments
- updated instructions and notes
This model has been designed to incorporate filament changes through your slicer settings. You'll be switching colours up to three times, with each change happening after 0.4mm of the base colour has been laid down. Plus, we've included two size options for you: an 11.2mm and a 6.2mm height version. Opt for the shorter one if you're looking to conserve material, speed up your print time, or if you prefer a lighter final product. Happy printing!
NOTES & TIPS:
- mounting: use your trusted wall gum adhesive or double-sided tape to mount this charming decoration on a wall
- thickness: use the "pikachu.stl" or "pikachu_ext.stl" and cut the model's base in your slicer to the desired height if you want one we didn't provide
- scaling: we recommend scaling these models along the X and Y only and keeping them along the Z axis at 100%. Also when scaling down you may lose some details if scaled down too much
- ironing: we like to use ironing only for the topmost surface
