I don't have anywhere to hang Christmas stockings with care, so I was doubtful that St Nick would soon be here. To hopefully correct the situation, and bring things up to the fat old elf's high standards, I made these stocking hangers. They have some festive snap on covers, with several designs (which are remixed). I've also included the STEP file to make it easy to remix more (any flat design should be possible to use with this).

The hangers can be held using large 3M command strips, which is what I am using to hold them, or there is also a hole for a #8 wood screw, for a more permanent installation.

Orcaslicer 3mf files which are colored for the AMS are included.

Notes: I've used Command Strips with standard PLA for multiple projects in the past, and have had no problems so far, but if using them, make sure they stick to the filament being used. The covers snap onto the hangers, and I did not need glue. Note that if using screws though, gluing the covers on will make removal of the screws very difficult.

If using the STL's, please make sure the hangers are set to lie flat on the build plate (they can be printed flat, and without supports, but the sides are slightly angled). Also if using the STL's, the “A” and “B” parts should be imported (or dragged) together into the slicer, and then answer “yes” to pop up asking to load the files as a single object (that way they will maintain their orientation). The covers can print flat and colored using the paint bucket. The snowflakes and bell could also be colored by selecting the colors for the “B” objects. Note that the tree is just one object, and can be colored using the paint bucket tool in Color Painting menu.
