When slicing Bambu slicer will pause at 15% for quite some time on the main body, don't worry it is busy slicing!

No AMS is needed; if you use the non AMS print profile the printer will pause twice during printing of the hat, at this point use the menus on the printer to unload your filament, then load a new colour, then un-pause the print. This will give you a band around the hat, of course you can not change filament and un pause for a single colour hat :-)

There is an arrow on the base which highlights the vertical ridge that has slots for the buttons which can be clearly seen in this video:
