Remix of the original file to accommodate use of vibration dampening Squash Ball Feet  Also made a set of TPU gaskets which must be used to maintain proper spacing between feet, and ensure a snug fit on the vent openings. Used two M4x25 machine screws and M4 heat set inserts (M4 nuts would work too) to join the two halves, and some 3M double sided mounting tape to secure to the printer. 32mm ID Vacuum cleaner hose I had laying around worked perfectly, I wish I knew the make and model it came from, sorry. You will need to devise some means of promoting active airflow through the unit, I use some 90mm Fan Ducts, but also provided a file for 120mm Fans as well - and something to prevent unwanted debris from entering the intake side, like an air filter.

Ok, I have merged a couple pieces together and a little slicing to be able to add a filter with the 90mm fan for pulling in air, once I printed and I will show it but think it looks promising. For some that woul like to add a filter weather is for removing toxic or pulling clean air in the mother board. Not sure if I can post these pictures here but would be cool as an additional option for this build.

Great idea! Is it designed around a particular filter?

Good and very needed one, but my printer is placed sideways within an enclosure and I needed touchscreen to be placed also sideways. I did a slight remix that solves it https://makerworld.com/en/models/1100309#profileId-1095479 also adds enclosed fans and a system to lead fan cord

It looks really great, I am looking to use it for my custom A1 enclosure to keep the motherboard cool. But would you suggest how to connect it to intake fan and dust filter? I am new to 3d printing, would appreciate suggestions

I found that the smaller size shop vac hose fits it, as well as regular home vacuum cleaner hose I had laying around "just in case" and for once it came in handy. Don't forget the TPU gaskets for it, maintains proper spacing between feet.

Thanks! I am looking into putting a fan to create airflow from outside and then another fan for exhaust to filter out fumes. Just need to wrap my head around all the components needed.

There are some fan ducts that will mount on a wall. I printed one for a 120mm fan and realized I only have a 90mm fan lol. Oops. I will upload the 120mm one and I'm remixing it to fit a 90mm, so I will upload that when done as well. If you have an old PC laying around, there's a lot you can salvage, including a power supply for the many fans it contains.

The fans are external, to be mounted using the 90mm or 120mm fan ducts provided, depending on what size fans you have. Someone else has remixed it with slots for some tiny 40mm fans, but I prefer the greater airflow capacity of the larger ones.

Ah makes sense, so going to imagine using the same concept one sucking air in and the other pulling air out ? Nice option plus would be pretty easy to see if a fan failed or not.

Hi, I recently built a case around my A1 and thought your project might be helpful. First, I need to get some PETG filament and the rest of the supplies. I saw that you connected the two fans (intake and exhaust) via a duct that runs under the printer. I was wondering if it wouldn't be better to install both fans with the same intake function, letting the air escape from the printer's bottom vents and circulate to counteract the increase in internal temperature of the enclosure, or at least slow it down. Slightly cooler air wouldn't affect the print, as it would circulate under the printer and not directly on the print bed. I'd love to hear your thoughts. If you think the system works better this way, I'll print it soon and let you know what I think. :)

what temp drops are you getting? I picked up a Skouphy (sky) large enclosure with an exhaust vent. I haven't recieved my A1 yet, but I mainly want to keep dust off it but don't want to fry it
