This printed great and slides on perfectly. However, when I went to change the spool, I couldn't get the cardboard ring off, lol. Any tips for a stuck roll? Freezer maybe?

Haha, I hold the cardboard and push the adapter off with my thumbs! I was actually considering putting holes in the back to help push the ring off. It's a tight fit because the cardboard doesn't key onto the spool and can only rely on friction. ..The freezer won't work because you'll be freezing the whole thing! 🙂

If you ever revisit the design, I think holes for pushing would be great. I'm going to try getting a couple scrapers in there and twisting them to push the cardboard out. My idea with the freezer would be that it might slightly shrink the plastic enough to let the cardboard slide off. It's pretty hot in that room, so that might be the problem.

It should be tight but not impossible, that's weird.. Was it that hard to get the spool on?

printed well, but I find that is doesn't hold a snug connection and slowly comes loose as printing, resulting in filament load errors.

This model is actually designed to be very snug. If it came loose your spool may not be functioning correctly..

This was a life saver. I was looking to save a few bucks by buying the spoolless rolls from Micro Center. I noticed they didn't fit very snuggly on the normal spool. printed this out and worked like a champ.

Is the tab on the Bambu spool in the notch on the adapter?

These seem to be the only ones that actually work for inland Spooless material.

everyone needs to know - this is the only adapter for inland refills that has the proper gap so that the filament doesn’t unwind into the space between itself and the spool wall. that is CRITICAL! this is the one to print y’all!

Thank you so much! That's precisely the issue with other adapters out there. I wish there was a better way but as you said it's critical your filament doesn't get pinched. I appreciate the comments and boost! 💗
