Description

This is a sleek and practical insert/organizer designed to provide the perfect storage solution for the original Ticket to Ride (North American map) along with the 1910 Expansion. Since the 1910 Expansion includes larger-format cards, I based this design on Jerald’s Ticket to Ride Europe version. This modified version accommodates the bigger cards and features a reduced height in the opening for the map, as the North American map is thinner compared to the European one.

Jerald’s original design also included a clever secret compartment for storing spare trains, which has been retained in this version for added functionality.

Important note: This organizer is specifically designed for use with the 1910 Expansion cards. The original smaller cards from the base game will not fit, as the 1910 Expansion essentially replaces them.

This set includes:

• 4 * large insert pieces

• 15 * dowels for connecting the insert pieces

• 5 * train boxes with lids

• 1 * cardholder designed for the larger-format cards used in the 1910 Expansion (similar to the Europe version)

I hope this design helps others looking for an efficient and stylish way to organize their Ticket to Ride game!

@terryyling - Noticed that the train cover STLs are all solid. (no hexagon spacing like in the image). Am I doing something wrong?

Hey, the print profile basically removes the top and bottom layer to expose the hexagon structure inside. So, if you only look at the file itself, it would simply show solid object.

@terryyling I just attempted printing this from the Bambu Handy app by selecting just one of the plates for the trains. It did not print with the hex pattern. it started to print exactly like the image above.
