Description

Modern christmas tree ornaments for vase mode printing. Tall tree is 174mm tall and short tree 132mm and both have a 62mm opening for the bambulab remote controlled puck lights or an electronic tealight. Designed for vasemode printing. Profiles are tuned to get a good print quality with variable layer heights. When using translucent filament you can use a light to light up the tree. Model is compatible with Bambulab LED Flame Tea Light Candle Set and remote controlled puck light.

When slicing yourself and using larger layer heights there may be gaps in the print because of the steep curvature on the model. Thus it is recommended to use 0.20 mm overall layer height with lower variable layer heights on the tip and the top curvatures of each section of the tree.

Looks really good. Can I know which filament colors you use for these 3 trees? Thank you!

I just clipped the sharp top off with my pliers and tried to round it off a little. worked for me!

Hello, there is an issue with the angles of the file, resulting in tiny holes, a shame it isn't a little more refined as the model is relatively good I am far from a novice in 3D printing and due to the spiral nature it's impossible to print this file without these holes I've attached photos

You can decrease the layerheight for these sections. For my test prints there were no holes, I used the standard profiles.

Nevertheless, this is indeed the case, regardless of the layer height (adaptive and spiderweb), especially since it was tested with your print settings Closer inspection of the photos posted in the comments on your design clearly shows them, less so on some because the color accentuates or diminishes the visual effect Slightly increasing the thickness of these areas in your design could likely resolve the issue I privately sell custom designs, requiring perfectly calibrated filament, I had a professional acquaintance test it on an Ultimaker S5 pro with the same result

It is actually strange, I once printed with Esun PLA+ without holes, today I printed again with Bambulab PLA, this time the same holes ... I did not change the parameters.

hey looks awesome! Is the tealight somewhat connected with the tree or do you just put the tree above the tealight?

Thanks again for this nice tree! I also featured it in the video about wooden filaments - https://youtu.be/NK7JzLaM0iU. Attached some details from prints with wooden filaments - really an eye-catcher!
