Description
Beautiful minimalist lamp
Apart from the LED strips, no additional material (screws/glue) is needed, as the lithophane plates are held in place by two clips at the back The front plate is held in position by the side plates To ensure this, the lithophane plates should be printed according to the dimensions given below
The lamp is very robust and can be easily assembled/disassembled to change the pictures, for example
Support structures are necessary for printing (see pictures)
To prevent shadows within the lamp, the two outer LED strips should be mounted on the two risers (see picture)

I create the stl files for the pictures with the Lithophane Workbench in FreeCAD I usually print the pictures in an upright position as this improves image resolution
The plates should be printed solid, so I set the number of wall lines to a high value (e.g., 40 wall lines) and additionally set the infill to 100%
I then reduce the print speed to maintain high print quality for the image
A tip to speed up printing is to set the wall generator to Arachne, which can reduce the print time of an image by approximately 1 hour
