Customizable Family names Christmas ornament

Create a personalized Christmas tree ornament featuring custom text, such as the names of your family members. Customize various aspects of the design including text content, font sizes, colors, and shape properties to craft a unique holiday decoration.

Printing instructions:

When printing in multiple colors take into account that Bambu Slicer color managing fails and will cause some color leaks in the infill. For avoiding this slicing problem, once the model, right click over it and select Split→ To objects:
 

Parameters

• names: The text to display on the tree ornament. Use * to separate multiple lines (e.g., "Ana*David*Mom*Dad").
  Default: "Ana*David*mama*Papa"
• year: The year to display at the bottom of the tree. Leave blank if you don't want to include a year.
  Default: "2024"

Text Options:

• lineTextHeight: Font size for the text lines.
  Default: 10
• lineThickness: Thickness of the separator lines between text layers.
  Default: 1

Shape Options:

• extrudeHeight: Height of the extrusion (thickness of the ornament).
  Default: 2
• treeAngle: Angle of the tree shape across the lines, in degrees. Adjusts the slope of the tree sides.
  Range: 15 to 45
  Default: 25
• starOffset: Vertical offset of the star at the top of the tree. Fine-tune to position the star perfectly.
  Default: -1

Color Options:

• starColor: Color for the star at the top, in hexadecimal format (e.g., "#c7ab0d").
  Default: "#c7ab0d"
• evenColor: Color for even-numbered text lines, in hexadecimal format.
  Default: "#045125"
• oddColor: Color for odd-numbered text lines, in hexadecimal format.
  Default: "#9b131a"

Exporting the Model:

1. Customize your ornament by setting the parameters above to your preferences.
2. Generate the model using your 3D modeling software or the provided script.
3. Export the model as an 3MF file, ready for 3D printing.
